Droitwich Spa Football club now currently run over 35 squads with a playing membership of around 400 boys and girls, in all age groups from 6 to 18, providing a pathway from youth football into the Droitwich adults teams
This club is close to the Managing Directors heart as he was a member of the club in his youth. The facility is within the inner city of Birmingham, It provides a safe environment for underprivileged youth to learn discipline and fitness with the rewards of competition, our sponsorship has aided the youth team to compete in commonwealth countries as well as hosting events at the home ground racetrack in Birmingham.
We have provided sponsorship to an employee’s daughter who attends a local school to fly out to Gambia to help with a schooling charity project which helped towards enhancing the school’s environment by decorating classrooms and building a new well to provide the community with fresh water.
Here at Spa Gas, we are proud to back our team members who go the extra mile – literally – for the causes they care about.
We actively sponsor staff who participate in charity marathons, fun runs and hiking events to raise funds and awareness for a variety of important causes this is by covering entry fees, matching donations and celebrating their impact. Richard Fry our Contracts Manager has done several London Half Marathons for Prostate Cancer and Tommys whom help and support vital work in the research into miscarriages, still births and premature birth.
Our Buildings Contracts Manager Chris Bottomley is currently working towards raising funds for Alzheimer’s Society to be able to complete a 13-mile trek across the Cotswold, this cause holds a special place in our hearts, particularly for our own Managing Director, who recently lost his mother to the disease.

For over 10yrs we have supported our Droitwich Local Food Bank by donating food and health care supplies, for several years running the Managing Director partnered with the local Barclays Bank to raise funds for the Food Bank by setting up a Christmas Grotto and dressing up as Father Christmas and suppling selection boxes. More recently we have reviewed other ways in which we can help the Food Bank by being update with their current supply requirements posted on their Facebook page, such as the rise in their clients who have limited cooking facilities available to them meaning food supplies are needed to be reconsidered.
Just last year the food bank had partnered and set up a donation portal which enables us to go online to donate. As the Food Bank is a nationwide charity Spa Gas Limited have now been able to extend our donations to the wider community and have donated to the Hereford Food Bank on several occasion.
We hosted a charity evening in support of our team member who bravely had over 20inches of hair cut to raise funds for Primrose Hospice. The donated hair was given to The Little Princess Trust, a Hereford based charity that provides real-hair wigs to children undergoing cancer treatment. The event was featured in the local press and successfully raised awareness and support for both incredible causes.
The annual Trust In Bloom showcases and recognises the efforts of residents, team members and volunteers who work together throughout the year to plan and nurture the garden areas within the Order of St Johns Care Trust Care Home Gardens. Spa Gas Limited love getting involved by donating a range of prizes for the competition and even attending to view some of the gardens being showcased.
This event celebrates the vital contributions of all Estate and Facilities (E&F) professionals in delivering health and social care across the UK. To recognise these E & F stars, Spa Gas Limited has proudly donated a selection of prizes in support of this meaningful initiative over the past couple of years and will continue to do so.

We have always found Spa Gas managers and technical staff professional and responsive to our requirements and approachable in providing competent and cost effective solutions to technical issues with minimum disruption to the core business of our Clients and Customers.
I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you for all the great work that you have completed. We are thrilled with the ventilation and canopy systems at our Central Production Unit, Highbury, Council House and Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. All works were carried out with total professionalism and to a standard that ensures we comply with the current gas regulations.
We were extremely impressed with the work carried out by Spagas, who liaised at all stages with other contractors and the school staff. The whole project was made much less onerous by the efficiency of Spagas - the company was a delight to work with.
